🚨 1. Ensure Security
First stop the vehicle, light the quads.
If possible, pull the vehicle to a location that will not obstruct traffic.
If you are injured, call 112 and ask for help.
📸 2. Document the Crime Scene
Take photos and videos of the accident scene, location of vehicles, license plate number and damage.
Obtain the other party's driver's license, registration and traffic insurance information.
Note any witness information.
📝 3. Keep Minutes
Only in accidents with material damage, if the two parties can agree, fill out an "Accident Report" (traffic accident report).
If agreement cannot be reached or there is injury/death, call the police (155 or 112).
Do not move vehicles until the police arrive.
☎️ 4. Notify the Rent a Car Company Immediately
Call the rental company as soon as possible (immediately if possible) after the accident occurs.
The company usually asks you for the following documents:
Accident report or police report
Photos
Photocopies of driver's license and registration
Alcohol report (required by the police in some cases)
